We say lead sites sell your number. Here's what we do instead.
The whole product is "your request goes to one person." That only means something if the data practices underneath it hold up, so here they are in plain terms — where the addresses come from, where your phone number goes, and how long anything sticks around. Last updated July 28, 2026.
Where the addresses come from.
The card is addressed using public county property records and licensed property-data providers — the same records that describe every home's ownership, value, and year built. We screen that list address by address (owner-occupied, owned a year or more, no investors, nothing for sale) and mail to the addresses that pass. What we buy is property data tied to an address. We do not buy phone lists, email lists, or "homeowner intent" data, and receiving the card requires nothing from you — it's addressed mail, not a subscription.
Don't want the card? One request removes your address permanently — it takes effect by the next mailing cycle and never expires.
Used once. For the job you asked about.
When you tell us a job — by chat, by phone, or by scanning the card's QR code — your name, number, and job details go to exactly one company: the vetted pro matched to your territory and trade. Not to a list of contractors, not to a data broker, not to an ad platform. We never sell your contact information, and no pro in the network is permitted to market to you beyond the job you asked about.
We follow up about that job — did the pro reach out, did the work happen, was it right — because the follow-up is what keeps the network honest. Beyond that, you hear from us again only if you've explicitly asked to (for example, seasonal maintenance reminders you opt into). No opt-in, no messages.
How long anything sticks around.
Job records — who asked for what, which pro it went to, how it ended — are kept for 24 months after the job closes, then deleted; that window is what lets us stand behind a match if something surfaces later. Do Not Mail suppressions are the one thing we keep permanently, because deleting one would put a card back in your mailbox. Want your records gone sooner? Ask through the contact form and we'll delete them, suppressions excepted.
The website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. That's traffic measurement, not ad targeting — we don't run remarketing lists off this site.
